thanks to reza, and his awesome coordinating we will be staying here for the weekend of may 22nd to may 25th. the place has 8 rooms and sleeps 18... and has 8 bathrooms... so no having to share a bathroom with any of the males. excellent news. i can't wait for all the girls to be back together. its pretty much my favorite time of year (up there with the regulator christmas party and my H.S. loves).the trip first started as a girls reunion weekend when we headed to miami for labor day of 2007 --- our first official reunion trip!
last year we settled on memorial day weekend and stayed at allisons beach house in padre. the boys decided to come along for the reunion and stayed at a hotel down the road. i love this tradition that we are beginning. the girls make it a point to bring little gifts for each other. in miami i made us koozies [[you can see them in the above photo]] for padre hales brought us these great bird heads.
and here are the cactus shot glasses from kirby being put to good use before a night out.well i am super excited for this trip... especially since it is the weekend after my graduation it will be like a celebration weekend! also, with the weather in nyc blustery and snowy today THIS definitely gives me something to look forward to :D
p.s. the chain emails between all eighteen are definitely humorous... slightly inappropriate for public viewing, and may need t eventually be made into some sort of quote book. sara bear kicked it off with the first email at 11:37 am.. and with an email just in from brett ((8:05pm)) we have come to a grand total of 74 emails. oh you people are silly and make me smile.
