back to school - back to cool

I haven't written in a few days - classes started back up yesterday! Plus I had a super long labor day, and was exhausted by the time we got back to our apt. Mo and I went ot Bushwick (Brooklyn) to meet up with some friends and play 'touch football'... okay so they lied, and it was actually full contact. hello. i do not do full contact sports. so i downplayed absolutely any athletic ability i had, in hopes that if i was absolutely awful, they wouldn't be too mad. we had so much fun! it was team manhattan (will, kirby, me, and mo) verses team brooklyn (brad, jackie, emily and charles). we played first to ten touchdowns - and we won 10-2! I scored three of the TDs, AND i had an interception. I was proud of myself. i even got a battle wound - someone scratched me really hard during one of the plays and my arm started gushing blood. but i forged on.












chinae and some other people were there cheering us on. after the game we all went to williamsburg for dinner. we ate barbeque at fette sau - pronounced 'fetta sue' and means 'fat pig'. ha. it was great after a long afternoon of playing ball. by the end of the meal, we were stuffed. still sweaty and gross. and i was needing to get home to clean my cut - sick.


yesterday i had 2 classes - advertising design and electronic page design II. today i had graphic design I and communication design I. it's great to see everyone after the long summer and catch up. i am eager to get this semester going and see how i fare. i hope to work hard and improve my skills and knowledge as much as i can. this semester and then just one more, and it's time to actually enter the real world and find a job...ahh. so. i think its time to get to work! and get it goin.
